FEATURED INTERVIEW: OSCAR M
“They (TGLH Community) can give you really good guidance and ultimately help you develop some of the gifts you have.
— Oscar M, Board Member & Community Member, The Gathering Lighthouse
At this year’s Theosofest, I had a chance to meet with Oscar. Whenever I see him at Gathering Lighthouse events, he’s been very warm and friendly. If you ever have a chance to sit down with Oscar, be sure to ask him about the history of his spiritual journey. It is truly fascinating. In fact, with my script-writing background, I think it would make a terrific screenplay! The trait he possesses that most impacts me is his absolute commitment to his personal growth journey. He has learned to listen to that guiding voice within, and in doing so, he has experienced extraordinary spiritual communication and self-discovery.
The one thing that Oscar emphasizes time and again is how he is so appreciative of the community connection that he has made at The Gathering Lighthouse. Most recently, he discovered a men’s group and was thrilled with the connections that he made. What he appreciated most was how the men were willing to speak deeply and honestly about themselves – a rare experience when environmental programming so often discourages men from being vulnerable or emotional.
One night while stargazing late at night. He had a conversion with a multi-dimensional being.
This entity shared the existence of a limitless archive hidden in a higher dimension. They called it the Akashic records. A library of limitless information holding all of the blueprints of life. They mentioned that they were re-issuing a library card that he had from a previous life. But in order for him to return he would need to “follow the trail of breadcrumbs”.
Ultimately, two things struck me when I met with Oscar. First was his commitment to always follow his inner guidance. I’m right there with you, Oscar. Second was his courage to stretch himself and enter into a broader spiritual journey; one in which he meets with a spiritual teacher. At times I ask myself if I have the courage to surrender any fears that I may have to consciously plunge into the vastness of other plains. While I have no doubt that we all access a higher dimension, I applaud Oscar for having the courage to take his physical personality self to consciously explore the great unknown. You may ask yourself, “Do I have the courage to meet with beings from other dimensions in my human, conscious form? If not, what am I most afraid of?”
